On the scale above from 1-100, if you add one to the linear scale, you have improved your position by 1%, however if you add one to the logarithmic scale you improve your position by 25.89%. Domain rankings are on a logarithmic scale from 1-100 so every point you improve you ranking your have effective improved by 25.89%.
